Terms and conditions of the 2025 audience survey prize draw

Participants in the Synchronicity Earth 2025 Audience Survey may opt in to the prize draw to win a Biophilia book (one winner, UK-based) or a deck of Clare Shenstone illustrated playing cards (five winners, international). The closing date for entries will be 23.59pm on 29 July 2025, and the winners will be contacted on 30 July 2025.

1. The promoter of this prize draw is Synchronicity Earth, 5th Floor, 1 Chancery Lane, London, WC2A 1LF.
2. This prize draw is open to individuals aged 18 and over who complete the survey in full who are based in the geographic areas specified above for each prize. Employees of Synchronicity Earth and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
3. To enter the prize draw, you must complete the survey in full. No purchase is necessary.
4. Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries or duplicate submissions from the same individual will not be counted. All names with a UK address will be used for the draw for the UK-based Biophilia book draw, all names will be used for the international draw for the playing cards.
5. Synchronicity Earth accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, or not received for any reason, including technical faults or internet issues. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt.
6. The closing date for entries is as specified in the survey. Entries received after this date and time will not be considered.
7. The draw will take place on the date indicated in the survey and will be conducted using a randomised computer process overseen by an independent member of Synchronicity Earth’s staff.
8. The winners will receive the prizes outlined in the survey. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative will be offered and Synchronicity Earth accepts no responsibility for prizes that are lost due to incorrect address or postal mismanagement. Synchronicity Earth reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control require it. The prize draw will be final subject to conditions outlined in (10) and non-winners will not be contacted.
9. Synchronicity Earth accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.
10. The winners will be contacted by email on the day of the draw. If the winners do not respond within 90 days of notification, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner will be selected in accordance with the process described above. If a secondary winner does not respond, the prize will not be issued. If a winner rejects the prize or is found to be in breach of these terms, their prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected.
11. Prizes will be delivered via secure post or email, depending on the nature of the prize. If the prize involves a charitable donation, proof of donation will be shared with the winner. Delivery will occur by the date specified in the survey invitation.
12. Any personal data provided will be processed in accordance with Synchronicity Earth’s Privacy Policy and current data protection laws. By entering the prize draw, you consent to the collection, retention, and use of your personal information to administer the draw and contact you regarding your entry.
13. Synchronicity Earth accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering this Prize Draw or accepting the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law.
14. If, for any reason, the prize draw cannot proceed as planned due to circumstances beyond Synchronicity Earth’s control (including but not limited to computer virus, network failure, technical malfunction, or unauthorised intervention), Synchronicity Earth may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries, where required.
15. By entering the prize draw, participants have accepted and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Synchronicity Earth reserves the right to disqualify any entry that breaches these terms.
16. Although participants can participate from countries outside of England and Wales, these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
