A new Co-Chair for Synchronicity Earth
A message from our Co-Founder, Adam Sweidan
It is my great pleasure to announce that Catherine Bryan has accepted my offer to co-chair Synchronicity Earth with me. As we continue to evolve and grow as an organisation, Catherine and I will work very closely together to guide Synchronicity Earth through the challenges and opportunities that this growth brings.
This appointment recognises and marks the extraordinary role Catherine plays on the Board and as a very involved Trustee, and the continuing role she continues to play in guiding Synchronicity Earth’s strategic direction.
Catherine has been involved with Synchronicity Earth – in various capacities – over the last eleven or so years. Initially volunteering her time undertaking desk-based research for our ‘freshwater portfolio’, to being appointed a Trustee in May 2016, to then becoming our CEO from 2017 to 2019, Catherine has navigated many phases of Synchronicity Earth’s ambition, capabilities, and growth. As a result, her experience with Synchronicity Earth, combined with her breadth of knowledge, distinct skill sets, and perspective, is truly remarkable. There is no part of this organisation that has not been touched and in my opinion, benefited from Catherine’s insight, wisdom, and experience.
I am looking forward to continuing to work with Catherine over the coming years as we grow our impact, funding, and support for more incredible people and organisations protecting species and ecosystems in some of the most biodiverse but threatened regions on Earth.
