About Taymar Robinson
Taymar graduated BSocSc (Hons) Politics and International Relations from the University of Manchester, in which she was primarily interested in Environmental Politics and the relationship between Indigenous communities and the Natural World.
For her dissertation, she looked at the ways in which forms of violence against First Nation and Native American women manifest themselves in pipeline towns.
During a career break, Taymar spent 6 months travelling through Southeast Asia where she developed a curiosity surrounding the nature, wildlife, and the climate adversity faced within the Global South – this ignited a desire to enter the conservation field.
Since then, she has volunteered with London-based conservation groups and organisations to promote species regeneration and habitat management, while encouraging community outreach and youth engagement with local biodiversity across London.
In her spare time, Taymar enjoys learning and developing her ceramic skills, exploring local wildlife and nature reserves, curating her weekly music playlist, and discovering new food and cultures through travel.
