Update: We are no longer taking applications for this post as we move into the next stage of recruitment.
We are currently recruiting a Communications and Engagement Lead for the freshwater conservation initiative Shoal.
Shoal is a new global partnership and initiative, partly hosted by Synchronicity Earth, aimed at engaging a wide range of organizations to accelerate and escalate action to save the most threatened freshwater species and ecosystems. It aims to do this through mobilizing strategic action for freshwater species, raising awareness of the need for more and better freshwater conservation action, and developing the capacity of our partners implementing impactful conservation on the ground.
A critical component of the Shoal initiative and partnership is the engagement of individuals, companies, researchers, organisations and institutions that can become supporters of Shoal and actively contributing to the conservation of threatened freshwater species. The major target group for engagement are the aquarium and angling hobbies and associated businesses.
