Covid-19 and Synchronicity Earth

The Covid-19 pandemic is creating unprecedented and challenging circumstances for all of us. At Synchronicity Earth, we have two key priorities: to support the health and wellbeing of our small and very dedicated team; and to continue to support our conservation partners around the world in any way we can.

As of 9th March, the Synchronicity Earth team shifted to remote working in order to ensure the safety of our staff and, most importantly, to play our part in helping to protect the most vulnerable in society. We have suspended all travel and are holding remote meetings only. Fortunately, we already have a flexible working approach with a number of staff working from home on a regular basis, so we are in a good position to continue to deliver our priorities and provide support for our partners.

Our support for partners during this unprecedented time will be unwavering. We are committed to the wellbeing of all the people and organisations we fund through our Programmes and the communities they work in, and we continue to support the incredible work they are doing, often in circumstances which are already complex and challenging. We recognise that many will have work that is impacted by disruption resulting from Covid-19, and we will strive to keep all our donors and supporters informed about the impact of this rapidly evolving situation and any changes to planned work that may need to be made.

We are particularly grateful to our donors who have been able to provide flexible, unrestricted funding as it gives us, at this extraordinary time, the flexibility and agility to respond where the needs of our partners are greatest.

Whilst we are doing our best to support loved ones who might be vulnerable, we understand that you will be too. Thank you in return for your understanding at this time.

Please feel free to reach out to any of our staff or to info@synchronicityearth.org if you have any questions.
