Vera joined Synchronicity Earth in January 2017 as a part-time Research and Communications Assistant. Prior to her current role, Vera was supporting the former IUCN SSC Chair Dr Simon Stuart and was managing his office in Bath from 2015-2016. She was previously involved with IUCN’s Amazing Species project, and worked as a Research Technician for the Biodiversity and Macroecology group (BIOME) at the University of Sheffield. She has also volunteered to assist in numerous conservation projects in Australia, Mexico and the UK. Vera holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Sheffield and a Master of Science in Ecology and Management of the Natural Environment from the University of Bristol.
