Manisa specialises in non-profit finance and due diligence. Growing up in India and Nepal, Manisa was exposed to extreme poverty. Her experience convinced her that all social change must improve the quality of life of the most marginalised. She is thus especially passionate about Synchronicity Earth’s Biocultural Diversity Programme, which provides holistic support to communities on the front lines of the climate crisis. Manisa began her career in the banking sector, but took time away to focus on being a parent. When she re-entered the workforce, she decided to enter the charity sector, and earned an MSc from Cass University in Philanthropy, Grantmaking and Social Investment. As Finance and Risk Officer, Manisa helps with monthly financial management, supports fundraising and research efforts, and connects with partners to assess risk. In her free time, she acts as Trustee and Treasurer with St Jude India Childcare Centre.
